Delivery by Freight and Returns
Freight Shipments
Always inspect your shipment prior to signing for it. We recommend completely removing your shipment from its containers, regardless of the condition of the box, and inspecting it thoroughly. If there is damage, contact Dallas Aquarium Experts immediately, take photos, and make a note of the damage on the delivery receipt or decline delivery. By signing the delivery receipt, you are agreeing that you accept the product in its current condition.
Curbside Delivery
Stands, Canopies, and Tanks are sent freight within the contiguous United States. We use third party freight companies. Products sent via freight usually arrive on box truck however in some situations semi-tracker trailers may be used to deliver products to your address, this is based on the freight companies’ logistics and beyond our control. The shipper is only required to safely unload the product from the truck and is not responsible to further move product. It is recommended purchasers make prior arrangements to move ordered products to desired location.
Returns
Aquariums, stands, and canopies may be returned (new, unused, refused at time of delivery only), the customer will be responsible for the original actual freight charges defined as delivery charges, fees, and insurance incurred by Dallas Aquarium Experts for ordered product(s) to be shipped from our Arlington, Texas warehouse to your delivery address. In addition, the applicable freight costs to return the item, plus a 15% restocking fee, based on the original total purchase price. Freight costs can range from $400 to $1,500+ (each way), depending on what is ordered and the delivery address.
Please ensure that you order the correct items and contact us with any questions prior to purchasing. Aquarium cabinetry is custom built and stained per your order.
